One of the smallest communities in the Denver Metro area, Glendale, is quickly becoming a unique place to visit. You might wonder what there is be to see in a city that encompasses all of one square mile in area, but its nickname, “Rugbytown USA,” sheds a little light.

Glendale is home to the nation’s only municipally owned, rugby-specific stadium, Infinity Park; hence the designation. Not only is it the only municipally owned, but it is also the first rugby-specific stadium in the country. This is the first place in the U.S.A where local and international fans can come and enjoy the gentleman’s game of Rugby in a Rugby only park.

Infinity Park is home to the Glendale Raptors men’s teams, the Glendale Raptors women’s team, and youth programs. They also are host to many national, collegiate, and high school Rugby Tournaments. In addition to these events, they are looking to host international Rugby Tournaments.

The stadium is truly a work of sports wonder, accommodating over 5,000 people very comfortably. To go along with the live rugby entertainment Infinity Park currently runs a VIP “Try Rugby Club” and , the stadium is also adding more entertainment. such as They the plan to open a state-of-the-art fitness center for the community and teams, they run a VIP “Try Rugby Club,” and in the not so distance future the plan to build a U.S.-based Rugby Hall of Fame, where the history and great moments of Rugby can be played out for all to see.
