The main attraction in the Bear Valley neighborhood is the availability of shopping, housing and being near the center of Denver. The boundaries for Bear Valley are Hampden Ave., Wadsworth Blvd., Federal Boulevard, and Sheridan Boulevard.
The Bear Valley neighborhood is well-established with a lot of homes having been built in the 1950s. However, there are small sections of the area which are much older with buildings that were built in the late 1800s. The architecture of the neighborhoods in Bear Valley represents the common styles at in the early 1900’s, and most homes are filled with allure and personality.
Most homes in the Bear Valley neighborhood are within a short distance of the Bear Valley Park, which features trails, soccer fields, barbecue areas, gardens, and running and biking paths. Just a few miles from Downtown Denver, and several wonderful neighborhoods are also nearby, where many restaurants and shops can be found.
