City Park

City Park

City Park has 314-acres of gardens, trees, bushes, fountains, ponds and fine art, situated just east of downtown Denver, City Park is habitat to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Built in the premature 1900s as part of the trendy City Beautiful faction, the park served Denver locals as a civic safe haven and swimming retreat. The lake’s beach does not exist anymore, but the famous boathouse, shows up on many area postcards and posters, resides. 3 playgrounds, eating tables, tennis courts and a public golf course are all offered.
